Best-selling writer for children and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the company said: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was made after an review of claims about inappropriate behaviour towards women.
The publisher declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, adding: "We refrain from speaking about private personnel issues."
A Highly Successful Literary Career
Walliams is one of the UK's most best-selling authors for kids, having sold in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in five dozen languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
A number of his works, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as television films.
He has published in excess of 40 works in total, which features a Christmas book called *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins this past October.

His initial claim to fame came on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE in 2017 for his services to the charitable sector and arts community.
This move occurs subsequent to the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss in October.
