A American-Palestinian teenager after completing 270 days in imprisonment by Israel without charge was released.

Mohammed Ibrahim had just turned 15 at the time of his arrest this past winter in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers, allegations he repeatedly contested.

United States authorities said it welcomed the news of Mohammed's release.

Currently aged sixteen, required hospitalization upon gaining freedom, relatives told the media.

According to them, he appears pale, underweight, and is suffering from conditions acquired while detained.

Via family representatives, family spokesperson conveyed their "immense relief".

Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "living a horrific and endless nightmare" during the entire detention period.

"Right now, we're concentrating on ensuring Mohammed receives urgent medical care he needs following exposure to mistreatment by authorities and inhumane conditions for months."

The state department announced ongoing to provide consular support to Mohammed's family.

{"The Trump Administration has no higher priority than the safety and security of US citizens"," officials stated.

Twenty-seven US lawmakers submitted a formal letter to US authorities and President Donald Trump, urging greater action to secure his release.

The father, a father-of-four managing a frozen treats business in Florida, previously claimed Mohammed acknowledged allegations regarding stone throwing due to physical abuse.

The father hadn't visited or communicated with his son following the detention, and only heard what had happened to him via legal paperwork.

Mohammed was held absent formal charges in Ofer prison on the West Bank.

It is also home to mature inmates, including individuals found guilty of serious terrorism offences including killings.

Approximately 350 Palestinian minors in security custody detained within Israeli facilities, per correctional service statistics.

Several lack formal charges along with monitoring agencies, and international organizations, report instances of abuse and torture.

Following Mohammed's release, family representatives announced they would maintain their efforts demanding accountability for their family member Sayfollah Musallet.

The 20-year-old dual US citizen who the Palestinian health ministry said died from beating by Israeli settlers following tensions during summer.

Initially, defense forces stated they were examining reports a Palestinian civilian was deceased.

The two cousins collaborated in the family ice cream shop from Tampa.

No indictments occurred for the cousin's murder.
